Castleross Construction is a civil contractor specialising in complex infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand. We deliver high-quality FRP and precast concrete works and are known for our hands-on approach and strong site delivery.
We are currently seeking an experienced Plasterer to join our growing team on site. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing a clean, consistent finish and can work efficiently to meet program requirements.
About the Role
As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality internal and external finishes in line with project specifications and Castleross quality standards. Your work will include surface preparation, plaster/render application, patch repairs, and finishing works across various construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Plastering works across internal and external surfaces including walls, ceilings, bulkheads and architectural finishes
* Surface preparation including cleaning, patching, priming, roughening and bonding where required
* Mixing and applying plaster, render and compounds to achieve the correct finish
* Base coat and top coat application including levelling and smoothing surfaces
* Patch repairs and defect rectification (cracks, joints, damaged areas)
* Protecting surrounding areas and maintaining a clean worksite
* Working closely with site supervisors and other trades to meet deadlines
* Following all site safety procedures, SWMS and PPE requirements
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a plasterer in construction environments (commercial, industrial, civil or infrastructure)
* Strong attention to detail with pride in delivering high-quality finishes
* Confident using plastering tools and equipment (trowels, mixers, sanding tools, hand/power tools)
* Reliable, punctual and able to work to program timeframes
* Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a crew
Requirements
* White Card (essential)
* Driver's Licence (preferred)
* Additional tickets such as EWP / Working at Heights / Scaffolding (highly regarded depending on project needs)

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
