About the role
X Class Earthmoving is seeking an experienced Concreter to join our growing team in Goulburn, NSW. As a Concreter, you will be responsible for the efficient and high-quality construction of concrete structures, foundations, and other concrete-based projects. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work for a leading provider of earthmoving and construction services in the region.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and pouring concrete for a variety of projects, including foundations, slabs, footings, and more
* Operating and maintaining concrete mixing equipment and tools
* Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and specifications
* Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and labourers, to deliver successful projects
* Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite at all times
* Providing support and guidance to less experienced team members
What we're looking for
* Relevant trade qualifications or a minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Concreter
* Either relevant trade qualifications or suitable experience will be considered for this position
* Formwork and Steel Fixing Skills.
* Basic knowledge of formwork techniques is required
* Excellent knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to interpret and follow project plans and specifications
* Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Proven experience in a similar role within the building and construction industry
* Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
* Current driver's licence required (provisional licence acceptable)
* A standard car licence is required for this position
* Machine Skills is a + eg - Excavator
