Your new role
As an APS5 Graphic Designer, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering both internal and external communications. Reporting to an APS6 Graphic Designer, your key responsibilities include:
* Championing creativity and innovation across multiple channels.
* Ensuring materials are accessible and aligned with brand guidelines.
* Providing expert creative advice for participant-facing collateral and communication initiatives.
* Maintaining and improving tools and templates for staff.
* Enhancing branding consistency and expanding the impact of creative services.
* Your work will span digital and print media, including brochures, reports, social media content, and templates.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* Skills:
o Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and MS Office.
o Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
o Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
* Knowledge:
o Accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance).
o User-centred design principles.
o Technical understanding of design software.
* Qualifications & Experience:
o Tertiary qualifications in graphic or communication design (preferred).
o Minimum of 5 years' experience in graphic design roles.
