Austcorp Executive Recruitment is partnering with a leading supplier of innovative packaging solutions to recruit a Business Development Manager.
The ideal candidate will have industry expertise and a consultative mindset, driving commercially-driven sales growth through new business acquisition and account expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
* New Business Development: Identify opportunities within target industries (FMCG, food, personal care, pharma, etc.)
* Sales Growth: Drive profitable sales growth through new business acquisition and account expansion
* Client Relationships: Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients to increase share of wallet
* Product Strategies: Develop a strong understanding of our services and packaging solutions to tailor product strategies
* Industry Insights: Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to position our business effectively
* Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and updates to support strategic planning
* Proposal Development: Deliver professional proposals and presentations to clients
Requirements:
* Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the plastic packaging industry
* Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of thermoforming and/or blow moulding essential
* Packaging Expertise: Experience with packaging design and manufacturing for industries such as food, beverage, healthcare, personal care, or pharmaceuticals highly desirable
* FMC Sector Experience: Previous success in a similar sales role within the FMCG or manufacturing sectors
