We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our Risk Management practice based in Perth - St Georges Terrace. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate strong client relationships and provide exceptional client service, including ongoing client engagement, meticulous risk and insurance program administration, provision of technical expertise, and active participation in business development initiatives. You will also collaborate closely with various departments within Marsh.
We will count on you to:
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships by proactively understanding and responding to their needs.
* Implement renewal and broking strategies tailored to client requirements.
* Liaise with the Claims team to safeguard client interests and ensure timely claims settlement.
* Foster sound working relationships with insurers and participate in negotiations.
* Oversee renewals, credit control, and reporting for the client portfolio.
* Identify and act upon new business opportunities, whether new or expanded.
* Introduce new products or broader policies when appropriate.
* Adhere strictly to company policies, quality practices, and established systems and procedures.
* Comply fully with the Company's Errors and Omissions avoidance policy.
* Collaborate with Marsh Client Operations (MCO) to ensure timely and accurate document production, reporting, and processing.
* Perform other duties as required.
What you need to have:
* Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher
* At least 3 years in general lines insurance broking.
* Clear and effective communication skills with strong dedication to client service, with a knack for anticipating and exceeding client needs.
* Ability to work independently within a multi-skilled team.
* Proven ability to thrive under pressure, manage workloads, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
* Skilled in problem-solving and creative thinking.
