About the opportunit y Reporting to the Editorial Manager, the Digital Editor is accountable for the editorial and production process for the Little Learners Love Literacy Online platform and other digital products that support teachers to improve their reading and spelling instruction using the Little Learners Love Literacy® pedagogy. Responsibilities include: Overseeing the development, population and upload of digital teaching and learning resources such as Word docs, PDFs, audio and visual files, video and eBooks. Working with the Digital Product Manager to streamline/improve existing platform structures and processes. Compiling briefs/scripts for audio recordings, and briefing/supervising audio recording sessions. Quality control on audio recording, both during the recording and cross-checking against scripts, and monitoring audio file quality. Mapping audio recording to routines either through scripts for digital or directly in the LLLLO platform backend Briefing animations, checking animations and working with the Digital Content Manager and the Digital Product Manager to upload and map animations to routines Briefing images research through freelance permissions freelancers, selecting low-res images, approving high-res images and using the images in routine creation Active management of corrections for existing content. Ongoing management of digital product milestones and project governance. What we’re looking for: We are looking for a confident and focused digital editor ready to exceed expectations with: Proven experience in digital editorial production with a proactive approach to identifying and solving editorial issues. Experience in the education/EdTech industry (desirable) Strong communication skills - written and verbal Empathy and the ability to nurture strong relationships Passion for education and a commitment to supporting schools Reliable and authentic team player Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
