The salary range for this position is $22.81 (junior) $25.67 after 12 months or at age 20 - $33.50 adult rate per hour. The total salary package will include employer's contribution to superannuation and leave loading.

Position Information
The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world‐class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non‐government schools. We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
About the Role
This role is vital to the maintenance and upkeep of departmental schools.
Responsibilities
* Perform a range of tasks relating to the routine maintenance and upkeep of a Departmental School/grounds.
* Assist with the set up and removal of furniture and equipment for school activities.
* Identify and report maintenance and safety issues.
* Receive, store and distribute supplies and monitor equipment and report faults.
Qualifications and Skills
* Good planning and prioritising skills.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with others.
* Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and use equipment.

This is a part time 0.6 FTE role.
