We are seeking applications for an Exercise Physiologist to join our Allied Health team on a fixed-term basis until March 2026.
The Grade 1 Exercise Physiologist works alongside the multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical exercise physiology services to clients/patients using evidence-based clinical practice skills.
The Position
* Prescribe, deliver, and supervise individual and group remedial and maintenance exercise programs, including gym and hydrotherapy.
* Contribute to high-quality, compassionate, safe clinical services in various settings such as inpatient, outpatient, or home/community-based.
* Complete administrative duties, liaise with administration, report data, and document clinical activities.
* Develop treatment goals and plans collaboratively with patients/clients and team members.
* Participate actively in the multidisciplinary team.
* Initiate timely referrals to external agencies.
* Use evidence-based, problem-solving approaches to clinical care and service development.
* Maintain current knowledge of research and evidence-based practices in Exercise Physiology and related areas.
Qualifications include a tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology, Sports Science, or a related field, with eligibility for accreditation in ESSA. Experience with assessments, exercise prescriptions, monitoring, and progressions for special populations is preferred. Applicants must be eligible for a Medicare Provider Number.

* Salary: $68,802 to $95,127 plus 11.5% Superannuation
* Fixed-term full-time, 38 hours/week
