Geriatric Medicine Specialist Opportunity
Bendigo Health is a major regional hospital providing world class healthcare to central and northern Victoria. We are seeking an experienced Consultant Physician Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join our Geriatric Medicine Team.
This position involves expert clinical care and specialist service to patients in the area of responsibility, medical leadership to the Geriatric Medicine Team, support to the Advanced Trainee and broader Geriatric medical education, and assisting the Clinical Director with management of the unit.
The successful candidate will have full clinical responsibility for their patients and be the clinical team lead.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert clinical care and specialist service to patients
* Medical leadership to the Geriatric Medicine Team
* Support to the Advanced Trainee and broader Geriatric medical education
* Assist the Clinical Director with management of the unit
Requirements:
* Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
* Degree in Medicine (MBBS/MD)
* Current registration with Australian Medical Council (AMC)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
