Personal Psychology is a private psychology clinic in Neutral Bay. We offer evidence‐based therapy without corporate pressure, excessive systems, or KPI‐driven caseloads. We have steady client enquiries and are looking for the right clinician to join the practice in a versatile contractor role. We see mild to complex presentations, so if you like a mix, this could work well for you.

Role description

Versatile contractor role, from 1 day/week upward, with scope to grow depending on your availability and preferred client load. No KPIs, no pressure to take unsuitable clients, and no expectation to build a caseload faster than you want. Set your own hours – early bird, or prefer evenings? No problem! Decide on your preferred presentations to work with – we will make sure you are comfortable with the clients allocated to you. Admin, bookings, payments, reminders, and practice systems all covered. Compensation is percentage‐based and discussed transparently upfront.

Support

Working independently doesn't mean working alone. Unlimited peer supervision. We provide free, ongoing, and genuinely available support. Support with Medicare, reports, and complex cases. Collegial, low‐ego and clinically grounded. You will have autonomy, but support is available when needed.

About you

• AHPRA registered psychologist, Clinical Psychology Registrar, or Clinical Psychologist (we cannot take provisional psychologist for the time being)
• Have your own insurance – or willing to get one; we'll explain how this works
• Comfortable working independently within a supportive private‐practice setting
• Reliable and responsive with communication, including timely replies to clinic emails and client‐related admin matters
