About the Opportunity:

As the Facility Manager you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of all aspects of the St Vincent's Care Maroochydore. Your role will include maintaining exceptional performance standards, leading your team to success and ensuring every resident feels welcomed, engaged and supported. Reporting to the Queensland State Manager, you will also have the support of centralised centres of excellence as part of a national, progressive healthcare organisation.

Please Note:

This is a maximum term role for long service leave from the 1st September 2025 to the 9th January 2026. There is a possibility of an extension but at that this stage it is a 4 month contract.


Key responsibilities of the role:

* Leading your team to provide ongoing professional care and holistic support for residents
* Operational performance of the facility including accreditation, financial budgets, staffing, safety etc.
* Consistently maintaining quality and accreditation guidelines
* Ensuring reporting requirements are met
* Safeguarding and maintaining occupancy levels
* Maintaining a happy and homelike environment underpinned by Christian values

Things that work for us:

* Dynamic leaderships with a continual focus on improvement
* Demonstrated experience leading an Aged Care Facility or Regional Manager role (essential)
* AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
* Understanding, exposure and management of ANACC, Aged Care Legislation and Facility Accreditation
* Commercial acumen and solid knowledge of the key business drivers of aged care
* Ability to foster a safe workplace and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives to develop sustainable practice
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at various levels;
* Ability to lead and motivate a team to success and high quality performance
* An understanding of the culture and tradition of Catholic Health, including a commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of the organisation and an ability to promote the behavioural expectations in line with this philosophy
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
