Are you an experienced Management Accountant seeking a hands‑on role within a well-established and high-performing organisation? This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key position covering a maternity leave contract for approximately 9-12 months, working closely with an engaged Finance Manager and a supportive wider team.
Your new role

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a central role in delivering accurate and timely financial insights. Key responsibilities include:
* Month‑end processing, journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Management reporting, analysis, and commentary for operational leaders
* Supporting forecasting and budgeting cycles
* Job costing, margin analysis, and variance investigation
* Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across finance
* Partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders to support decision‑making
This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who thrives in an environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience as a Management Accountant or similar financial accounting role
* Strong analytical skills and confidence working with large data sets
* Excellent Excel capability
* High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
* Confident communication skills to partner with stakeholders across the business
* Prior industry experience in manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments will be highly regarded but not essential.
