Track Infrastructure Designer
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, reviewing and developing integrated track infrastructure solutions for internal and external projects.
* Apply expertise in Perway/Track Engineering, survey principles, asset management and constructability aspects to design effective solutions.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to consolidate design requirements and implement practical design solutions.
* Address constructability, safety, site constraints and operational/environmental factors in proposed design solutions.
* Conduct site inspections and surveys to inform track infrastructure design decisions.
* Provide technical support and conduct peer reviews for internal teams.
* Lead feasibility studies and participate in risk assessments for track design projects.
About the Ideal Candidate
* Hold a Civil Engineering degree with 6-8 years of experience in Railway Alignment Track Design and Engineering.
* Have good knowledge of RISSB Group Standards and Australian Standards.
* Be proficient in producing Track Design drawings using Bentley Openrail Designer and MicroStation.
* Proven experience in Brownfield rail project development, design and delivery is desired.
Key Requirements
* Strong understanding of track design principles including track geometry, earthworks and corridor modeling.
* Demonstrable knowledge of Perway/Track Engineering concepts, survey principles and asset management principles.
* Proven ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver design solutions.
