We are a leading security provider and deliver high-quality, customer driven security and locksmith solutions to clients in specialist industries in a broad range of sectors including defence, government, financial and corporate. ARA is seeking a talented and competent Recruitment Consultant to join their HR team to help support the growth.
Location: 9B Commercial Road, Kingsgrove NSW 2208.
Salary: $80,000 + superannuation
Hours: Full Time: 38 hours per week
This role will keep you busy, challenged, learning, and contributing You will report directly to the Head of Human Resources (fabulous mentoring) and support multiple Managers across the ARA Group in fulfilling their recruitment needs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
The key responsibilities and duties of the Recruitment Consultant are as follows:
* Organizing the promotion of job openings, conducting interviews and assessments for potential candidates, and making personnel selections;
* Offering guidance and information to management regarding workplace relations policies and procedures, employee performance, and disciplinary issues
* Maintaining personnel records and associated human resource information systems;
* Researching and conducting evaluation methods for staff performance;
* Studying and interpreting legislation, awards, collective agreements, employment contracts and wage payments systems;
* Study and research into dispute settlement procedures;
* Formulating enterprise agreements or collective contracts through planning and development;
* Overseeing the formulation and conduct of workplace consultative committees and employee participation initiatives;
* Receiving and recording job vacancy information in and providing the information to ARA subsidiaries and job seekers.
Essential Criteria
The essential criteria of the Recruitment Consultant are as follows:
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
* 2+ years of previous experience in a Recruitment related field.
* Strong IT skills and proficiency in using various software applications.
* No convictions on Police Check.
