Temp Payroll Officer for a respected organisation in North Ryde

This progressive organisation is committed to delivering quality services to the community; be part of a collaborative and supportive environment They are seeking 2 Senior Payroll Officers on a temporary basis until the end of Jan with a possible extension. Please note this can either be part-time or full-time positions.
Your new role
* Assist with end-to-end payroll processing and reconciliation.
* Interpret and apply industrial instruments, employment contracts, and internal policies accurately.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (taxation, superannuation, workers' compensation).
* Maintain internal controls, system integrity, and accurate record-keeping.
* Liaise effectively with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes.
* Generate reports from HRIS and support payroll system optimisation.
* Train other staff in payroll administration tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed
* Extensive experience in payroll processing and award interpretation.
* Strong knowledge of superannuation, workers' compensation, and relevant taxation legislation.
* Proven experience with Chris21 or iChris
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across all levels.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* High attention to detail, confidentiality, and commitment to customer service.
