About the Role
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Lead Salesforce User Experience (UX) Designer (EL1 equivalent). This is a 3-month initial contract with 1 x 3-month extension option, located across QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA or TAS with hybrid working arrangements .
As the selected candidate, you will:
* Lead user centred design activities across Salesforce supported platforms
* Conduct research, co design, prototyping and usability testing to inform design decisions
* Provide expert advice on interaction design, workflows and UX patterns within Salesforce environments
* Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers and architects to translate user insights into practical design artefacts
* Facilitate co design workshops and usability testing with diverse user groups
* Guide teams in applying appropriate UX patterns within enterprise CRM constraints
* Coach and uplift design capability across multidisciplinary teams
* Ensure accessibility, inclusive design standards and alignment with organisational design systems
* Represent user experience considerations in governance forums and senior stakeholder discussions
To be successful in this role you should have:
* Demonstrated experience leading user centred design in complex digital environments
* Strong ability to translate user requirements into clear artefacts including prototypes, user stories and design documentation
* Proven capability influencing senior stakeholders and supporting UX decision making at leadership level
* Experience designing within Salesforce environments, including understanding platform constraints and Experience Cloud considerations
* Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments
* Strong knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles
It is desirable if you have:
* Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud or legacy Vlocity components
* Experience working with enterprise design systems and component based UI governance
* Understanding of CRM supported UX patterns and usability considerations
* Strong commitment to accessibility first design and continuous improvement
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain Baseline security clearance .
