At Shortland Correctional Centre, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Primary Care services. Located 151km north-west of Sydney, our facility provides healthcare services to male offenders in a maximum-security setting.
To be eligible for this role, you must have current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and at least one full year of nursing experience.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations. Key responsibilities include performing reception screening and comprehensive health assessments, as well as assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management for patients.
