Minprovise is a leading specialist in the supply and service of crushing and mineral processing equipment. We're currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Welshpool workshop team.
Reporting to: Workshop Manager.
About the Role
As a Project Coordinator, you'll play a key role in planning, executing, and delivering projects that meet client expectations and align with our commitment to safety and quality. You'll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Champion a strong safety-first culture—lead by example and contribute to a low-risk workplace.
* Develop and implement project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
* Coordinate with workshop staff, engineers, and suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency.
* Monitor and manage labour, materials, and equipment to optimise project outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality benchmarks, and regulatory guidelines.
* Identify and resolve project-related issues to avoid delays and cost overruns.
* Maintain accurate documentation including progress reports, budgets, and change orders.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices.
What You'll Bring
* Experience: Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in a fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environment.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and techniques (e.g., welding, machining, assembly).
* Leadership and Communication: Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and client relationships effectively.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address project challenges promptly.
* Education: Relevant qualifications in an engineering trade, or a related field (preferred).
