Our Client, is a leading Australian construction services companies, delivering certainty for our customers on a broad range of civil, building, environmental and industrial projects over more than 30 years.
We have a permanent opportunity for a Full Time Maintenance Manager to join the team in Darwin, Northern Territory.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Supervision: Leading and mentoring a team of maintenance staff or field crews.
* Planning and Scheduling: Planning and supervising maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, often involving short-term project planning and resource allocation.
* Asset Management: Ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment, physical assets, buildings, and machinery to minimise downtime and maximise availability.
* Budgeting and Reporting: Managing maintenance budgets, tracking expenses, and reporting progress and costs to senior management.
* Contractor Management: Developing and maintaining relationships with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs or services.
* Problem Solving: Inspecting facilities to diagnose problems and responding to unplanned work, call-ins, and breakdowns.
Requirements:
* Must have trade experience AND trade qualification
* Minimum 5 years' experience in construction/infrastructure project delivery
* Strong safety focus and knowledge
* Hold a current White Card.
* Ability to hold DCIS and Defence Clearance
