High-Quality Paint Finisher Opportunity
This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced paint finisher to ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition through exceptional workmanship.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing and matching vehicle colours after preparation and scheduling for painting, developing and maintaining a comprehensive colour library, and ensuring that all painted vehicles meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mix and match vehicle colours after preparation and scheduling for painting.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive colour library.
* Prep, prime, and paint vehicles according to job sheet requirements, adhering to paint supplier processes.
* Buff and denib vehicles to a high standard.
* Carefully handle all vehicles to prevent damage.
* Document any additional paint work required beyond the original quote.
* Notify the production manager of any old damage or substandard previous repairs.
* Ensure the work bay and workshop areas are clean and tidy.
* Provide coaching and guidance to apprentices when necessary.
Requirements:
* You hold a trade qualification in Spray Painting.
* You have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a trade qualified Spray Painter.
* You are committed to working safely and following best practices.
* You possess excellent communication skills.
* You have a keen eye for detail.
* You are able to collaborate effectively with your team.
* You can meet strict deadlines.
* You are reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
* You own the necessary tools to perform the role.
