We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals with the willingness to learn and gain real-life experience as assistant technicians in the Construction Materials Testing sector. This role offers hands-on experience, career growth opportunities, and on-the-job training while working on local and remote projects.
About the Role
Under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager, you will:
* Assist with soil, concrete, and aggregate sampling and preparation.
* Perform laboratory and field testing.
* Assist with local and remote infrastructure projects.
* Ensure compliance with company and legislative standards.
This position will start as a casual role, with the potential to become full-time for the right candidate.
Key Requirements
* Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening.
* Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain).
* Physically fit—able to lift heavy loads repeatedly.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
