Senior Analyst, Governance Reporting & Analytics
Join our Transformation & Operations division as a Senior Analyst, Governance Reporting & Analytics, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting Line 1 Risk. You'll be responsible for managing governance for all Line 1 Divisional Risk Committees — setting agendas, forward planning, taking minutes, coordinating papers, tracking action items, maintaining decision registers and keeping attendance records up to date. You'll also support our data analytics team to track and report on risk measures and metrics, ensuring Divisional Risk Committees are well-supported and informed. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Line 1 and Line 2 Operational and Divisional Risk teams, as well as engaging with BOQ Group Executives and General Management.
Your strong business acumen, communication skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities will be critical. You'll help deliver key risk indicators, support the development of risk frameworks, and utilise tools like GRC and Power BI to drive risk reporting and analytics. Responsibilities
* Manage governance for all Line 1 Divisional Risk Committees — setting agendas, forward planning, taking minutes, coordinating papers, tracking action items, maintaining decision registers and attendance records.
* Collaborate with data analytics teams to track and report on risk measures and metrics.
* Support Line 1 and Line 2 Operational and Divisional Risk teams, and engage with BOQ Group Executives and General Management.
* Deliver key risk indicators and assist in the development of risk frameworks.
* Utilise tools such as GRC and Power BI to drive risk reporting and analytics.
Qualifications
* Detail-oriented with working knowledge of operational risk management frameworks and governance practices.
* Understanding of committee and board management reporting; ability to review, challenge and uplift risk decisioning.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with Power BI is preferred or willingness to learn.
* Excellent time management with demonstrated ability to work independently and manage conflicting deadlines.
* Experience in financial services is a plus.
* Collaborative team player who can influence across levels and uphold high standards of compliance and conduct.
