**How will I help?**
We're looking for an IFRS 9 Data Controls Manager to join our team at the Risk Data Office. As our new team member, you'll play a key role in assessing and maintaining key risks and identifying mitigating data controls for CDEs across end-to-end data lineage. You'll document assessment outcomes and gaps/weaknesses where identified, with a focus on IFRS9 data lineage/CDEs, but extending to others as required.
You'll also coordinate and review risk and controls assessments where activity is undertaken by delivery projects, undertake analysis of data controls (including weaknesses and gaps) to support planning, decision making, and remediation. Furthermore, you'll support the definition and documentation of action plans to address control gaps and weaknesses and undertake periodic control self-assessments for data controls.
Your role will also include reviewing and documenting changes to risks and controls, supporting analysis and documentation of data lineage (as required), and supporting the IFRS 9 Senior Data Manager in the review and validation of IFRS 9 (credit provisioning) controls.

**What do I need?**
You'll possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Risk Management, specifically in areas such as Data Quality Management, Data Controls Management, Data Governance, or Data Lineage. With a clear understanding of Credit Provisioning Processes and Calculations in accordance with IFRS9 requirements, as well as Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Operational Risk processes and systems.
You'll have a proven track record of undertaking risk and controls assessments, and hold relevant qualifications in computer science, information systems, or a technology-related discipline. Strong advanced MS Excel skills are essential for this role, as is a strong inquisitive nature, excellent attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
