Practice Manager | Full-Time | Hastings Family Medical Centre Hastings Family Medical Centre is seeking a high-performing Practice Manager with strong P&L ownership and Medicare (MBS) expertise to lead the operational and financial success of a busy, high-volume general practice. Hastings Family Medical Centre forms part of Partnered Health Medical Centres, one of Australia's leading primary healthcare providers with 60 clinics located throughout metropolitan and regional centres, comprising 56 medical centres and 4 dedicated skin clinics. The ideal candidate will have previous practice management experience and is looking for a new opportunity and challenge. This role is permanent full-time, 38 hours per week. What the job involves: · Full P&L responsibility – drive revenue, control costs and deliver profitability · Optimise Medicare billing (MBS), private billing and mixed billing models · Oversee Medicare batching, billing compliance and revenue integrity · Lead and develop reception, admin and nursing teams · Improve patient flow, clinic efficiency and service delivery · Support onboarding and retention · Build strong stakeholder relationships · Deliver on government programs, funding requirements and KPIs · Implement new services and continuous improvement initiatives · Ensure RACGP accreditation and compliance standards are maintained · Working closely with the Regional Manager & Clinic Medical Director What we need from you: · Proven experience as a Practice Manager / Medical Business Management · Demonstrated P&L management and financial accountability · Strong knowledge of MBS item numbers, billing optimisation and compliance · Experience in private billing, bulk billing or mixed billing environments · Ability to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency · Strong leadership and team development capability · Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills · Analytical mindset with strong Excel/reporting capability · Understanding of general practice operations and workflows What we offer: · Work within a great team environment · Personal development – expand your knowledge with our own in-house online learning and development centre · EAP program - available to you 24/7 · Companywide health and wellbeing events · Generous special offers and discounts from a wide range of brands such as - Hoyts, Myers, Uber, Woolworths and more!
