An exciting and rewarding opportunity is available for a suitably qualified candidate to join the Access and Intake team at Portland District Health.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, their families, and carers. Your focus will be on providing a warm and welcoming environment, whilst ensuring data integrity in patient registration, admissions, discharges, and electronic health records.
About You
Certificate III or IV in Business Administration regarded favourably
Demonstrated administrative clerical experience
High computer literacy with data entry skills
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and organize workload effectively
Respectful, approachable, team-oriented, and able to build strong working relationships
Proactive, taking ownership of work and following through
Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
Experience with various computer software programs
Knowledge of medical terminology and health services experience is an advantage
