About the Role

We are recruiting for a Process Control Engineer to join the team at our Australind Pigment Plant - located on Old Coast Road, here in our idyllic South West.

In this role, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and effective operation of site process control systems, supporting our Technology & Improvement priorities. Working closely with operations, engineering and maintenance teams, you'll help deliver control solutions that improve process stability, safety, throughput and overall site performance. This role sits at the intersection of technology and operations, with a strong focus on collaboration and practical impact.

You'll be responsible for designing, maintaining and optimising process control strategies, including alarms and control loops, and supporting safety‐critical control systems through change and improvement activities. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement by applying existing and emerging technologies, sharing knowledge, and supporting others in the use and development of control systems. There is opportunity to be involved in site and global initiatives, infrastructure upgrades and problem‐solving activities, with scope to grow your technical depth and influence over time.

About You

* Degree qualification in Process Instrumentation and Control (or equivalent Engineering discipline)
* Proven track record leading process control solutions
* Experience in Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, Siemens PLC, and TUV certifications would all be looked on favourably
* Advanced data analysis knowledge and experience in Plant Control Systems/Programming
* Demonstrated ability for analytical capabilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to contribute to organisational change
* Ability to work in a multi‐disciplinary environment
