What you'll do
* Know and understand the category in detail – product performance, market share, competitors, pricing, promotion, suppliers, trends and customer insight.
* Assist the Category Manager in delivering an optimum product range via a planned review schedule, offering store‐tailored choices and incorporating customer trends.
* Promote the range – manage a competitive and sustainable promotional program.
* Be accountable for the sales, profit and market share performance of the category.
* Take full accountability for planning, negotiating and executing the promotional strategy for highly promoted categories.
What you'll bring
* Previous experience in Buying, Sales, or Category Management (preferred).
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation experience.
* A track record in driving sales, profit and market share through customer‐led initiatives.
* Excellent communication, storytelling and influencing skills.
* Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment.
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
