As a Lead Culinary Professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high-quality food standards.
You will lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to guest service and employee development. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
* Supervise cooks, ensuring production and timeliness of food preparation
* Inventory management and cost control
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
* Collaborate with chefs to maintain menu consistency and enhance menu offerings
* Ensure kitchen equipment is well-maintained and notify management of needed repairs
Requirements
To succeed as a Lead Culinary Professional, you will need:
* Three years of culinary supervision experience in a similar operation
* Culinary school or related experience
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation regulations
* Experience with inventory management and cost control
* Knowledge of menu preparation and production organization
* High school diploma or equivalent
