Job Description
You will be part of our 12-month Action Packed Graduate Program, which is designed to accelerate your learning and development within a clinical setting. The program includes an immersive 12-week induction, followed by monthly clinical workshops and personal growth sessions. You will also receive training opportunities to align with your interests and strengthen your practice.
Your role will involve working with clients to develop their skills and abilities, with the goal of maximising their independence and participation in daily activities. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for clients, and have access to a range of resources and support systems to help you succeed in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
* To assess and develop treatment plans for clients with varying levels of ability and need
* To conduct therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices to promote client progress and engagement
* To collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
* To maintain accurate records and reports, documenting client progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
* Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to register
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and managing competing demands
* Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
