One of Perth's best venues has an exciting opportunity for someone to take on the role of Bar Manager at our flagship venue, The Point Bar & Grill.
The position will involve working in a team environment and managing a busy bar with up to 10 bartenders and glassies. Duties will include creation of cocktail lists, ordering, training, stocktaking and presentation of bar. The Point Bar & Grill hosts live music and DJs on the weekends.
The successful applicant must have experience in bar procedures and stock control and also be available weekends across both Friday and Saturday nights and Sundays and who is looking to progress their career.
Essential;
* Previous management experience in a bar, restaurant or club an advantage.
* Approved Manager qualification or willing to get one
* A good level of computer literacy
* Communication across all levels of hospitality
* Must have stocktaking experience
* Familiar with operating POS System and Eftpos
* Experience in setting up events with food & drink service
* A desire to provide first class customer service and a positive work environment
* Have a sound understanding of the Liquor Licensing Act and the Directors Policies
This is a hands-on role and requires a person who likes to keep busy and further their skills and experience in running a large entertainment venue.
A salary package of $85K to $90K is available depending on experience.
