We offer our clients industry leading solutions for on & off site line boring and machining tasks, delivering unmatched quality, consistency and turnaround times whilst upholding high safety standards.Working with major OEM's and multiple Tier 1 clients, we are supported by our Perth based fabrication and rebuild facility and offer a variety of both challenging and rewarding portable and on/offsite machining roles across the mining and heavy industry sectors.Mektech delivers a one stop shop for site machining and component reclamation, we are looking for multi talented and skilled individuals who are highly proficient in both welding, air arc gouging and machining.What is requiredRelevant Australian recognized trade - Welder fabricator or Machinist, fitter & turnerMinimum 3 years post trade experience line boring or site machiningThe candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability to use precision measuring equipment, carry out general welding and read an engineering drawingEagerness to please and continue to uphold high standards of workmanship & work ethicPortable milling XY, Circular and laser survey equipment experience highly regardedStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to solve complex problems often encountered in the fieldMR/HR Drivers licenseDemonstrate a passion for upholding safety and adherence to site safety requirementsThe Roles - Casual with the option of going full time after 3 month trial period.2/2 Dayshift with occasional nightshift operating a fully self sufficient dual purpose line boring & boilermaker capable truck onsite.
Repairing all onsite equipment - Diggers, drills, trucks etc.Field Service Adhoc - Operating self sufficient line boring truck - Pilbara & Goldfields - All EquipmentPerth Based workshop - General Fab, Line boring, component reclamation and machiningInviting EOI's from highly experienced sub contractors with 3 + years trading history
