We are seeking an experienced and strategic Warehouse Operations Manager to join our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in Warwick Farm, Sydney. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the performance of Daikin Park Warehouses and Third‑Party Logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring superior operational efficiency, inventory accuracy and cost‑effectiveness nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor Daikin Park KPI's and manage operational aspects of warehouses.
* Manage all 3PL Service Level Agreements (SLAs), focusing on inventory accuracy, Turnaround Time (TAT/DIFOT) and damages, and coordinate communication with 3PL providers.
* Own daily variance reconciliation reports (3PL vs SAP), monitor transactional reports and ensure timely, accurate SAP updates.
* Manage 3PL invoices, handle GL allocation and verify monthly finance statements to meet budget targets and cost‑down initiatives.
* Lead the stock‑take process (minimum twice yearly) and drive continuous Kaizen activities, ensuring returns are processed accurately in SAP and WMS.
* Collaborate with Customer Service, Inventory Planning, Distribution and Sales to address delivery issues and service levels, and liaise with external suppliers, customs agents and third‑party providers.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 8 years in supply chain operations, preferably with fast‑turnover and bulky goods.
* High‑level proficiency with SAP R3 and practical knowledge of modern WMS; experience with Manhattan Scale is an advantage.
* Strong data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel and reporting/BI tools such as Qlik Sense or Qlik View.
* Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex operational challenges, taking ownership and delivering sustainable outcomes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing conflict and building rapport at all levels.
* Demonstrated success in managing change initiatives and aligning operational activities with broader business vision.
