Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and hands‐on Executive Chef to lead the culinary operation at Peppers Marysville, including Andiamo Restaurant · Bar and conference · events offerings. This highly involved role requires daily kitchen presence, guiding your team while delivering exceptional food experiences across both à la carte and function service.
You will have the freedom to bring creativity to seasonal menus, elevate the Andiamo dining experience, and showcase local Victorian produce at its best. Working within a small, dedicated team, you will shape the food identity of the property while ensuring strong commercial outcomes. We are looking for someone available to commence in the near future.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead daily kitchen operations across Andiamo Restaurant · Bar and conference · events service
* Design and deliver creative, seasonal menus showcasing local Victorian produce
* Maintain strong control of food costs, budgeting, and efficient use of ingredients
* Ensure consistent high-quality presentation and execution across all dishes
* Work hands‐on in the kitchen alongside a small, committed team
* Oversee kitchen compliance, hygiene, and food safety standards
* Collaborate with leadership to deliver exceptional guest dining experiences
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader
* Strong background in restaurant and conference · events operations
* Hands‐on leadership style with a passion for leading from the kitchen
* Strong understanding of food cost control and kitchen financials
* Creative flair with a passion for seasonal and Italian‐inspired cuisine
* Ability to thrive in a small team and boutique hospitality environment
