About the role
We are currently seeking a motivated Home Care Worker to join our team in the City of Whittlesea, City of Banyule and Shire of Nillumbik on a permanent part time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to our aged care clients within an in-home care setting. We are looking for dependable candidates who can work flexible hours, preferably on Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist clients at home with general house cleaning, tidying and shopping.
- Communicate any client concerns or feedback to the care team to ensure quality service.
- Maintain client privacy and dignity, and encourage the same among team members and contractors.
- Report consumer risks to management, including inappropriate behaviours or actions not aligned to our values.
- Attend regular scheduled training to maintain your level of skill.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Based in Geelong or nearby suburbs.
- Available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:30 am - 4pm.
- Current valid Level II First Aid Certificate.
- Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people is advantageous.
- Current Australian Driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
