The Role A major public healthcare network in Melbourne is currently delivering a large-scale transformation program to consolidate pathology services across multiple sites. As part of this initiative, a new Shared Laboratory Information System (LIS) is being implemented to support standardised, high-quality care across the network. We are seeking an experienced Transition Coordinator to join the Digital Health team on a fixed-term basis. This role is integral to the successful transition and cutover of the LIS, ensuring minimal disruption to services and no high-risk impacts to patient care. Your Profile 3-7 years' experience in project coordination or cutover roles, ideally within large-scale system implementations. Experience in healthcare, pathology, or clinical settings is highly regarded but not essential. Proven ability to manage technical cutover planning, including building run sheets, coordinating resources, and identifying risks. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), LIS, or similar health IT platforms is a strong plus. Strong knowledge of technical change and operational readiness, preferably in a healthcare or laboratory setting. Excellent organisational, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
