You’ll be joining a trusted labour‑hire provider that partners with local councils across metropolitan and regional Victoria. We supply skilled and reliable staff who help councils maintain clean, safe, and vibrant public spaces. As part of our workforce, you’ll have access to ongoing assignments, supportive consultants, and potential opportunities to work across multiple council areas.
Your new role:This is an opportunity to express your interest in joining a range of Parks & Gardens teams responsible for maintaining and enhancing public open spaces across the region. Multiple crews are seeking reliable all‑rounders to support work in high volume mowing, garden and landscape maintenance, bushland management, and environmental restoration.Depending on your skills and experience, you may be placed in teams focusing on:
* High volume mowing and turf maintenance
* Garden bed upkeep, pruning, mulching, and general horticulture
* Bushland work, including invasive species control
* Open space presentation and general grounds maintenance
These roles offer variety, outdoor work, and the chance to contribute to the care and presentation of community spaces.
What you’ll need to succeed:
* Experience in gardening, landscaping, mowing, or grounds maintenance
* Ability to operate commercial mowing equipment (ride‑ons, zero‑turns, push mowers) – (desirable)
* Brush cutting and other general horticultural maintenance skills
* White Card
* Agricultural Chemical User’s Permit (ACUP) or ChemCert (desirable)
* Driver’s license and reliable vehicle (MR or HR license desirable)
* Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions
* Strong reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude
* Physical fitness for manual and repetitive tasks
* No criminal history within the last 9 years (Hays paid Police Check)
