 
        
        Electrical Project Manager Job
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the commissioning of a major data centre project in Melbourne. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in high-pressure environments, can manage multiple stakeholders, and has a proven ability to deliver results on large-scale builds.
This position will involve leading the commissioning process across all electrical systems within a mission-critical data centre environment. You will ensure that systems are fully tested, documented, and handed over to the client in line with project deadlines and industry standards.
Main Responsibilities:
 * Manage commissioning activities for electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, and BMS.
 * Lead FAT, SAT, IST, and integrated systems testing.
 * Develop and maintain commissioning programs, documentation, and compliance records.
 * Identify and resolve technical and scheduling issues, maintaining alignment with project and site management.
 * Liaise directly with external stakeholders, builders, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery.
 * Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to commissioning teams.
 * Maintain compliance with safety protocols, ISO standards, and company procedures.
About You:
 * Proven commissioning experience in data centres or large-scale industrial and commercial projects.
 * An electrical background is essential – ideally A Grade Electrician, with Site Supervisor, Site Foreman, or Leading Hand experience.
 * Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
 * Able to remain resilient and decisive under pressure while managing demanding deadlines.
 * Knowledge of commissioning software, reporting systems, and QA/QC processes.
