Tenders and Contracts Specialist Role
This is a senior-level position overseeing the entire tender process, from opportunity identification to contract administration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating tenders, reviewing contracts, conducting pricing checks, and ensuring accurate records maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tender coordination: Monitor paid tender notifications, set up opportunities, and create timelines for submissions.
* Contract review: Flag problematic clauses and brief legal with clear return-by dates.
* Pricing review: Conduct pricing checks with current and updated pricing schedules, and obtain approval from finance.
* Submission: Quality-assure tenders for completeness, formatting, and accuracy, partnering with country managers for final submissions.
* Contract administration: Triage procurement queries, deliver periodic reports per contract, and monitor expiry dates for renewals.
* Pricing governance: Maintain master price lists, quote templates, and contract price schedules, and liaise with international pricing for contract/distributor changes.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in government/healthcare tenders and commercial contract administration.
* Strong commercial literacy: pricing structures, departures, risk/benefit trade-offs.
* Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail in documents.
* Familiarity with Oracle, Microsoft Teams/SharePoint, ContractSafe, tender portals, and GS1 NPC.
