We are seeking a passionate, experienced Head Chef to join our team here at The Bridge House.
The Head Chef will play a key role in ensuring the success of the venue by running a smooth, efficient kitchen, delivering high-quality dishes while upholding a solid standard of food safety and hygiene.
They will be a team-player, leading the rest of the team in day-to-day operations and upholding our reputation as one of the best new restaurants in Perth - we have already been ranked in the WAGFG Top 100 and are finalists in the AHA Awards for Excellence 2025, so we're keen to keep the ball rolling. This position also involves fostering a positive work environment, driving service improvements, and ensuring consistent excellence in our culinary offerings.
Here's what we're looking for:
Experience in a high-quality kitchen
Relevant experience
Commercial cookery certificate
Ability to deliver an exceptional and consistent food product
Ability to create recipes and cost accurately
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to work and train others on multiple sections including pans, fryers, larder & grill.
Able to work flexible hours including weekends
Experience using a wood-fire grill will be looked upon favourably
Experience working to financial targets including labour and COGS

About The Bridge House: The Venue currently operates 4 days per week; Sun/Mon/Tue – Closed, Wed/Thu – Dinner Service, Fri/Sat – Lunch and Dinner service - this is subject to change depending on season and demand. A full restaurant license with estimated capacity of 100pax.
Remuneration is negotiable and will be dependent on experience and skills. KPI bonuses available based on labour and COGS targets.
