We’re looking for a Senior Workday Functional HCM Consultant who thrives on collaboration, drives delivery excellence, and knows how to bring cross-functional teams together for success. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role — working across functional workstreams, guiding the delivery team, and ensuring the program aligns with business goals. This is a full-time position.
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, offshore leads, and key stakeholders to drive quality outcomes — without being tied to day-to-day configuration. But when things get complex, you're not afraid to dive in, problem-solve, and lead by example. This is a role for someone who loves owning the big picture while staying close enough to the details to make a real impact.
Responsibilities
* Partner with clients tounderstand HR requirements and deliver tailored Workday HCM solutions fromdesign through implementation.
* Configure and customizemultiple Workday HCM modules to align with unique business processes andgoals.
* Lead full lifecycleWorkday implementations, including Phase X projects and post-productionsupport.
* Provide strategicguidance on Workday best practices and optimize system usage for long-termvalue.
* Manage project delivery,including risk identification, mitigation planning, and removal ofroadblocks.
* Advise clients on systemimpacts, integration considerations, and process interdependencies.
* Conduct knowledgetransfer sessions to educate clients and ensure effective system adoption.
* Set and manage clientexpectations while maintaining alignment with project scope and timelines.
* Take ownership of issueresolution and follow through on assignments to completion.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree inTechnology, Human Resources, or a related field.
* Minimum 7 years of Workday experience with relevant consulting experience
* Active WorkdayCertification (in HCM or relevant modules) required.
* Strong understanding ofend-to-end HR functional processes across the employee lifecycle.
* In-depth knowledgeofhow Workday configuration impacts cross-functional systems and workflows.
* Exceptionalcommunication skills, with the ability to influence and engagestakeholders at all levels.
* Quick decision-makingcapabilities in fast-paced environments, with a strong focus on businessoutcomes.
* Strong problem-solvingskills with a structured and logical approach to troubleshooting.
* Proven experienceindependently leading Workday projects and resolving implementationchallenges.
* Ability to managetesting cycles and support the deployment of software and technicalsolutions.
* A mindset of continuousimprovement, driving innovation and contributing to operationalexcellence.
