A leading service provider based in Canberra is seeking a Level 3 Network Operations Engineer with strong datacentre and F5 skills on a permanent basis for a hybrid role.
This role required baseline clearance.
Responsibilities:
* Supports day-to-day operations, across multivendor hybrid IT environments.
* Proactively identify, investigate, analyse issues and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents in a timely manner
* Plan, coordinate and implement complex system changes within client specified change windows.
* Liaise with the client, vendors, and other partners to ensure minimal disruption to the client's day-to-day business operations.
* Mentor L1/L2 Engineers offering technical expertise / guidance
* Proactively identify, contribute, implement, and work with automation teams for effort optimization and automating routine tasks.
* Review architecture, design and as built documentation and make recommendations for improvements.
Key Skills / Experience:
* + 5 years in Cisco R&S
* Strong datacentre experience
* Cisco Nexus switches, and NDFC ideally
* Firewalls: F5 InterVRF Firewall Administration
* Proficient in Network automation
* CCNA
