Location: DongaraUnit/Division: WACHS - Midwest > Dongara Health ServiceWork Type: Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Part TimeThis is a Permanent or Fixed Term appointmentat 48 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s)and/or permanency.Eligibility to Apply: To beeligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa(for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen,permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely inAustralia (for permanent appointments).OtherConditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trustand responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants toundertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking aspart of the appointment process. As well as undertaking a criminalrecord screening and integrity checking, you may also be requiredto undertake a working with children check (if required for therole) and a pre-employment health assessment. We may ask refereesto comment on your integrity and past demonstration of ethicalbehaviour. Please note that adverse information does notnecessarily disqualify an applicant but will be considered as partof the appointment process.Please note this recruitment process requirescompletion of satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA).Any offer of employment with WA Country Health Service (WACHS) isconditional on satisfactory PEHA to ensure you are able to performthe inherent requirements of the position. An unsatisfactory PEHAwill result in the offer of employment being withdrawn. Please seethe attached WACHS PEHA Policy for further information.Whilst this selection process will initially be used tofill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this,should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertisedvacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selectedfrom this process.
