About the Role
The Post Doctoral Fellow(s) will contribute to a mood disorders research team at UNSW, based at the Black Dog Institute. The team focuses on early intervention, phenotyping, and understanding subgroups within mood disorders, particularly bipolar disorder. Projects include optimizing models of care, evaluating digital data for phenotyping and prediction, and developing tailored treatments. The role involves independent and team-based research activities to advance mental health interventions.
Key Details
* Employment Type: Part or Full-time (35 hours/week)
* Duration: 1 Year Fixed Term, with possible extension based on funding
* Position Levels: A or B, depending on experience
* Remuneration: $88k - $145k base + 17% superannuation and leave loading
* Location: Randwick, Sydney
Qualifications and Experience
Level A
* PhD or relevant experience in a related discipline
* Experience in developing, evaluating, or translating mental health interventions
* Ability to conduct independent, high-quality research
* Proven publication and presentation record
* Strong teamwork, collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Effective communication with diverse stakeholders
Level B (in addition to Level A requirements)
* Track record of high-impact research and leadership potential
* Significant engagement with the profession or industry
* Excellent networking and communication skills
