Silverstone are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Supervisor to oversee a key project at the St Ives Gold Mine in Kambalda. This role will suit a hands-on leader with strong technical capability, strong communication skills and the ability to drive productivity and safety on site.
About the Role
You will be responsible for leading a small electrical team across an underground mining project.
Your duties will include:
* Installation of underground conduits, including liaison with onsite civil contractors
* Installation of cable ladders
* LV & HV cable installation, wiring and terminations
* Testing and commissioning activities
* Working closely with the Electrical Superintendent, Project Manager and Construction Manager
* Completing and submitting daily client reports, day work sheets and ensuring project documentation is maintained to a high standard
What We're Looking For
* A strong background in Electrical Supervision across Construction projects.
* Hold a current WA Electrical Licence and S26 certificate
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A high level of motivation, with the ability to work independently and maintain a strong focus on safety
* Proven experience supervising electrical teams in mining or heavy industrial environments
* Strong understanding of underground and surface electrical installation practices
* Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
* Ability to coordinate effectively with civil and engineering stakeholders
* Commitment to safety, quality and meeting project deadlines
* Able to pass a mining pre employment medical
