We are seeking skilled Mechanical Technicians to provide expert support and services for our on-highway truck business.
About the Role
* Carry out minor and major mechanical repairs and servicing of a wide range of vehicles
* Cummins Engine diagnostics and repairs, vehicle system troubleshooting and repairs
Key Responsibilities
* Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Collaborate with colleagues as part of a close-knit team
* Deliver exceptional customer service experiences
* Conduct minor and major servicing tasks on a variety of heavy vehicles, from bumper to bumper
* Utilize expertise in troubleshooting and diagnostics
* Perform major overhauls on engines, final drives & transmissions
* Handle brake and suspension work
* Resolve electrical issues and perform repairs
* Work within flexible day and afternoon shift schedules
Skill Requirements and Qualifications
* Trade-qualified motor mechanic with a strong commitment to work health and safety
* Experience working with Cummins engines
* Possession of a current NSW driver's license
* Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
* Able to work punctually and reliably
* HR/HC driver's license an advantage
* Forklift license an advantage
* RMS Examiners license an advantage
