About the Role
We are seeking a driven and motivated sales professional to join our team. This role involves expanding service capability with existing customers and connecting with new prospects as our range continues to grow.
The job requires:
* Picking up a van and visiting multiple customers and prospects each day
* Conducting demonstrations on power tools, gardening tools, tool accessories & hand tools
* Creating bespoke deals and quoting solutions to fit customer needs
* Transacting, picking & delivering orders
* Contacting inbound leads and outbound prospecting via phone or in person
* Attending industry events like agriculture shows, expos and customer events
* After-sales servicing to ensure the best experience and build strong relationships
* Capturing data in the CRM (Salesforce) to manage customer base and sales pipeline
* Reporting to the commercial account manager
Required Skills and Qualifications
We require someone with:
* A minimum of 2 years sales experience
* Demonstrated experience in driving and acquiring business
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Capacity to work autonomously
* Confident to present to internal and external groups
* Basic Microsoft Office suite capability
* Ability to build long-standing business relationships
* Trade/commercial sales experience
* Relevant industry experience (construction, landscaping, plumbing, carpentry, electrical)
* Power tools / garden tools / hardware knowledge
* CRM experience (Salesforce is a bonus)
