- Do YOU have a flair for Aged Care? If so, join the Lovell House, Caulfield North team as our Lifestyle Coordinator, and lead and oversee the implementation of our creative and engaging lifestyle program at St. George, Altona Meadows, to support our residents to live their best life and achieve their personal goals.
**Your 'typical day' will have you**:
- Coordinating the provision of recreational and social programs that enhance the well-being of our residents
- Supported by the Lifestyle Assistant, leading the orientation of new team members
- Assisting each resident individually in accordance with the lifestyle plan document and ensuring information is recorded accurately.
- Ensuring all programs meet both residents' needs and accreditation standards
- Demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, social and spiritual needs of our residents and their families
- Engaging our residents and encouraging them to be part of their local community
- Assisting with meaningful and enriching activities that provide choice to each person
**To thrive in the role, you will have**:
- Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or qualifications in community development
- Proficiency in working autonomously and provide leadership within a team environment
- Empathy and an ability to build strong connections with residents and their loved ones
- Honesty, helpfulness and dependability - making you a great asset to the team
- Creativity and experience in coordinating and providing recreational and social programs in aged care facilities or a similar setting (highly regarded)
- A current Driver's Licence (desirable)
