About Our Apprenticeship Program
As an Apprentice with our organisation, you will participate in structured training programs to develop your technical skills and knowledge. You will combine that with working alongside experienced technicians to learn all things automotive.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform minor servicing of light vehicles, including oil changes, tyre rotations and brake inspections
* Use and maintain tools and equipment
* Keep the workshop clean and tidy
* Learn in the workshop and at trade school guided by fully qualified trainers
* Participate in a four-year Apprenticeship Program to develop skills to become a fully qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
Qualifications and Attributes Required
* Must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
* Mechanically minded with a genuine interest in the trade
* Commit to a full-time apprenticeship for four years, including practical studies
* Strong sense of self-motivation with a proactive attitude
* Ability to follow safe work practices
* Current driver's License or close to obtaining one is preferred
* Certificate II in Automotive or demonstrated experience is ideal
