Job Title: Venue Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage venue operations, including inventory logistics and staff management.
* Oversee staff education on beverage products and brand story.
* Manage bookings, events, and private functions.
* Liaise with performers during soundcheck and show time.
* Assist in recruiting, training, and managing staff.
* Collaborate with the head chef to design menus and create specialty drinks.
* Manage staff rosters, timesheets, and safety requirements.
* Ensure bar readiness for busy trade.
* Manage venue maintenance needs and compliance with regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience running a comparable venue.
* Strong communication skills and ability to foster a positive working environment.
* Passionate about beverages or willingness to understand brewery-to-glass processes.
* Knowledge of beverages and cocktail creation.
* Good knowledge of food and hygiene standards and regulations.
* Confident in delivering and receiving feedback and managing conflict within a team.
* Efficient knowledge in stock management and relevant processes.
* Knowledge of licensing requirements.
* Friendly and approachable, able to negotiate and work with diverse stakeholders.
