The Role
We are looking for an Urgent Care Registered Nurse to join our Bundaberg Urgent Care Service. As a vital team member, you will be responsible for ensuring all patients presenting to the Urgent Care Service are appropriately triaged and provided with front-line care in collaboration with the Urgent Care medical practitioner.

Your Responsibilities
* Triaging all patients presenting to Urgent Care.
* Conducting comprehensive and accurate nursing triage.
* Responding promptly to patients requiring emergency escalation or showing deterioration.
* Performing procedural work such as suturing and plastering.
* Adapting to the dynamic Urgent Care environment.
* Delivering high-quality, person-centered care collaboratively with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners.
* Providing essential health education.
* Completing documentation accurately and promptly.
About You
* AHPRA Registered Nurse.
* Availability for evenings and weekends.
* Must provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
* Experience in triage within emergency, remote nursing, or ICU preferred; minimum 3 years in acute care.
* 3 years' RN experience preferred.
* ICU experience is advantageous.
* Ability to assess health deterioration and escalate appropriately.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking.
* Ability to work autonomously and delegate when appropriate.
* Personable with a passion for people.
